This design draws inspiration from two classic Eastern patterns: crackle glaze and diamond-patterned window lattice. The tabletop replicates the natural crackle texture of ancient porcelain, with fine lines spreading like the first cracks in ice. Below, black solid wood is woven in layers, forming a transparent, openwork frame. The circular tabletop also replicates the crackle glaze of ancient porcelain, with white and black contrasting light and shadow, and a balanced and harmonious interplay of curves and straight lines. The interwoven wooden frame creates a dynamic interplay of solid and void, with light and shadow changing naturally with the angle of view.
