about this piece
Based on a square box shape, the design evokes the natural imagery of layered rocks and peaks. The staggered drawers, like the undulating layers of mountains, soften the rigid lines of the cabinet with gentle curves. Light wood texture replicates the rustic grain of rocks, while antique bronze is inlaid in the gaps, creating a play of light and shadow within the layered spaces. The exterior is restrained and square, while the interior embodies the rugged spirit of mountains and water. Storage functionality blends seamlessly with the sculptural form; each opening and closing is a dynamic change in the planes, bringing a tranquil mountain setting to the bedroom.
