about this piece
One stone inherits ancient style, six corridors are engraved with bamboo marks. Heaven and earth create textures, standing still to embrace pure joy; inheriting the hexagonal shape of ancient Cong jade, and imitating the segmented form of green bamboo. Natural travertine embodies the texture of the earth, with light brown veins spreading naturally; each stone vein is a unique imprint of the earth. The hexagonal shape is clean and serene, with layered engravings replicating the rhythm of bamboo joints. The heaviness of the stone blends harmoniously with the uprightness of the bamboo. It comes in two forms, tall and short. The short stool can serve as a seat, while the tall column functions as a flower stand or side table, allowing for flexible arrangement. The simple stone hue is gentle and inclusive, with light and shadow dancing along the concave and convex edges, transforming the solemnity of ancient ritual vessels into tranquil everyday objects.
