about this piece
Stone born cloud traces, a dendrobium containing material; Clouds, taken from the warm texture of shallow stone like clouds, with mottled patterns between the stones resembling scattered cloud shadows; Hu, an ancient open container. The high footed shallow plate carved from the whole stone is like clouds converging between the dendrobium cups, blending the shape of ancient artifacts with natural stone. A whole piece of stone is carved into Yunhu, with the wide edge stretching outwards, the body slowly converging inwards, and the low round base steadily supporting the entire vessel. The shallow rice background is filled with natural stone patterns of varying depths, like cloud traces wandering through the plate. Each texture is a unique gift of time from the original stone. The lines are round and smooth without sharp angles, with a wide and open mouth, suitable for carrying flowers and fruits, and can be used for placing fragrant and elegant objects. Without excessive carving, the beauty is returned to the stone itself. It is not only a practical container for holding, but also a sculpture ornament that can be independently viewed, spreading a soft and peaceful Eastern atmosphere in the space.
