about this piece
Placed by courtyardstyle lattice, this chair invites quiet repose amid gentle breezes. Its backrest vertical slats echo traditional window grilles, sparse and airy for flowing light and shadow. Twisted carvings and bud finials adorn post tops; hollow armrests and twisted bottom rails echo each other, revealing fine hand-woodcraft layers.Deep-toned solid wood preserves raw texture, while warm horsehair softens the firm frame. Sturdy wood and supple upholstery strike a harmonious balance of rigidity and tenderness.Inheriting classic Chinese wooden furniture aesthetics with refined ancient styles, this chair perfectly fits daily leisure scenarios of modern tea rooms and studies.
